Use AI on a real task—with live one-to-one help

Bring something you actually want to do. Zachary Wolfe will work through it with you, explain what the AI is doing, and help you check and improve the result. This is human instruction—not an automated AI tutoring app.

No coding required. Lessons are billed by the hour after a free 15-minute call. Before you book a lesson, we agree on the task, lesson length, hourly rate and preparation.

Fit

Know what you are booking

The lesson is about learning to use AI well on a real task. Being clear about what it is—and what it is not—saves both of us time.

This is likely a good fit

  • You are an adult learning for personal or professional use.
  • You want guided practice with a task you bring.
  • You want to understand limitations, verify claims and revise outputs.
  • You prefer a patient human conversation over another self-serve app.

This is not school-subject tutoring

  • It is not math, physics, test-prep or homework tutoring.
  • It is not language-learning instruction.
  • It is not an automated tutor, chatbot subscription or software product.
  • I will help you learn the process, not secretly complete your work for you.

What we can work on

Start with something useful to you

You do not need a perfect lesson plan. Tell me the result you want and what you have already tried. We will choose tools around your goal and access.

Writing and planning

Draft, revise, compare approaches and turn a vague idea into a clearer next step—while keeping your own judgment in control.

Research and checking

Ask better questions, inspect sources, spot unsupported claims and build a repeatable way to verify an answer.

Everyday AI workflows

Choose a practical tool, structure prompts, save useful context and make a repeatable workflow for a task you actually do.

How it works

A short path from question to practice

The first call is free and takes 15 minutes. Its purpose is to understand the task, check that these lessons are suitable and agree on the practical details before paid work.

01 · Describe the task

Write or talk first

Send a short inquiry or book a free 15-minute call. Share only information you have permission to discuss.

02 · Agree the lesson

Set the scope

We agree on the goal, tool access, lesson length, hourly rate and any preparation before scheduling.

03 · Practice live

Do the work together

You try the steps, examine what went wrong, improve the approach and receive written notes for continued practice.

Your instructor

Work directly with Zachary Wolfe

I have a physics degree and a background in patent analysis, and my master’s degree in AI Strategy and Innovation is in progress. That mix shapes the lessons: ask a precise question, examine the evidence, test the answer and revise the method.

I will be clear when a tool is uncertain or when a claim needs another source. The goal is practical confidence—not a promise that AI is always right.

Common questions

Before you get in touch

If your situation is different, send a short note. I will tell you plainly whether it fits.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. These lessons are for practical use of AI tools. If your task later involves technical work, we will discuss that before the lesson.

Do you provide math, science or language tutoring?

No. My physics background informs how I check evidence, but this offer is for learning to use AI—not for school subjects, homework, test preparation or language instruction.

What does a lesson cost?

Lessons are billed by the hour, with no automatic subscription. The 15-minute introductory call is free. We agree the hourly rate, lesson length and any preparation before you book a paid lesson.

What happens after I send an inquiry?

I reply personally within one business day. An inquiry is not a booking; we still need to agree on fit, timing and the lesson details.

Start with a real question

What would you like to do with AI?

Tell me your experience level and one work or personal task you want to practice. A few sentences are enough.

This form sends an inquiry only. It does not book a call, subscribe you to a list or make you a customer.
